A teacher without tools, is a teacher at a disadvantage. Below, I have provided a few websites that have proven to be helpful for me thus far. The following websites contain some helpful information for both students and teachers. I have also provided a brief description of what to expect from the sites. Feel free to take a look!

WEB RESOURCES FOR TEACHERS
- Blue Web'n is an excellent site which allows you to search for useful internet tools by content area, grade level, and application type. Blue Web'n contains everything from lesson plans to activities to project ideas. Definitely a useful site for any teacher looking for new ideas.
- Edhelper is a site committed to providing a wide variety of online lesson plans for teachers. The lesson plans are sorted by subject, so it's easy to find what you need. The front page also offers a "Theme of the day" section as well as ideas for monthly themed units.
- The New York Times Learning Network is a really unique website. This unique website provides lesson plans which incorporate current news stories. What also makes it neat is that beneath each article headline is a description of what grades the lesson would be appropriate for and of which content area the article would fall under. The New York Times Learning Network also allows you to browse by content area, which makes it easy to navigate around and find what you're looking for.
- Frontline's Teacher Center is a website hosted by PBS, which provides teachers with access to many educational online videos. You can browse by subject area or by title to find a video suitable to your needs.
- The Federal Resources for Educational Excellence is a site which provides various educational resources from government agencies and government funded projects. The site's easy navigation allow you to search for resources by subject area.
WEB RESOURCES FOR STUDENTS
- Kbears is a fun and interactive site that allows students to explore information across a wide spectrum of subjects. From farming to dinosaurs to world geography. It's all here!
- Ask Dr. Math is a website that offers students help with their math schoolwork. Dr. Math carefully explains math problems and how to solve and get an answer. Offers math help from the elementary level through the post collegiate level.
- Ask Dr. Universe is also a very good and useful website. Ask Dr. Universe offers in-depth analysis of science's biggest questions and also provides the avenue for students to ask their own questions.
- Funbrain is a site packed full of fun educational games. Not only will your students be having fun, but they'll also be learning anything from math computation skills to necessary reading skills.
- PrimaryGames provides a fun and interactive way of presenting educational material. You can find games and stories for all subjects and also some useful activities for students to work on.
